Myles wrote and arranged (and performed live with The Big Beach Band), The Rock Ballet, “Dragons” which was choreographed by Gabrielle Springette and danced by the Rainforest Dancers (85 in the finale). Myles played in Harp & Steel with Kate Gibson Oswald (lap steel slide and regular guitar and Celtic harp). Myles is currently writing and performing with long time favourite musician, singer and songwriter Wayne Vliet. Myles on baritone fretted, baritone lap steel and standard tuned guitars, Wayne on Mandolin, fiddle and guitar. We have been doing more baritone guitar with mandolin arrangements as it makes a unique and very pleasing combination. Influences; Robert Johnson, Dave Van Ronk, BB King, Freddie King, Johnny Winter, Peter Green, Otis Rush, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Aretha Franklin, Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield, Leo Kotke, Doc Watson, Chuck Berry, Jules Goldberg.
