Myc Sharratt grew up on Vancouver Island listening to his parent�s record collection. At age 15 Myc picked up the guitar and incessantly bothered his Dad for lessons.

Unfortunately in 2001 his father passed away after a battle with cancer. Myc hid into the world of his guitar. While studying at the influential Malaspina University Jazz program Myc realized he was more interested in writing and performing music than studying it.

In November 2004 Sharratt headed into the studio with Gold Record producer and 2010 Juno nominee Ryan Stewart (Carly Rae Jepsen) to record his debut album "Incomplete". Independently released, the album is a showcase of creative, emotional, songwriting and striking guitar playing.

In April 2007 Myc drew 5 Vancouver Island Music Award nominations for his sophomore album �Blueprint� including a win for best male vocalist.

In the summer of 2008 Myc hit the road with good friend and fellow singer-songwriter Dave Adnams on a whirlwind 25 cities in 30 nights tour that saw the duo take the stage at such notable venues as Eddie�s Attic in Atlanta, GA (John Mayer, Shawn Mullins) and Uncommon Ground in Chicago, IL (Jeff Buckley, David Gray).

Consistently touring and improving his craft Myc has earned a reputation as a great live act. His fine backing band includes Chad Schroter-Gillespie on drums, Anatol McGinnis on Bass and Alex Maher on sax.

Myc has shared the stage with established artists (Blue Rodeo, Corb Lund, Daniel Wesley) while headlining well over 100 shows annually.

Myc's fall 2010 release sees him continue his great working relationship with Ryan Stewart. The single "Nearly Gone" is in regular rotation on The Shore 104.3 Vancouver and radio stations across Vancouver Island. The album promises to showcase the passion and honesty of an emerging talent.
