The American Musical Theatre's preeminent composer turned 80 this year and 2010 marks the first time that CYMC Musical Theatre has presented a work by Sondheim.
Join CYMC Musical Theatre's faculty and a host of other special guests as we celebrate Sondheim's life and music. Performers: Ashley Foot, Alana, Roger, Kris, other adult guests to be confirmed. (Ticket Price $15.00 each)
Featuring a blend of music and multimedia; images, videos, and audio clips from Sondheim's shows, and of the composer himself will be interwoven with spellbinding performances from West Side Story, Assassins, Sunday in the Park With George, Into the Woods, Pacific Overtures, Merrily We Roll Along, Gypsy, Anyone Can Whistle, and of course Sweeney Todd. Be our guest for this one of a kind musical and theatrical experience.
