There's a Song in My Art - Reflections on the Field of Life
An evening of Art Songs which consider many emotions of living life and escaping from it.
After very successful concerts in January and February 2010, Comox Valley's own, Musicabil will be presenting their Winter selections of Art Songs, from Schubert to Barber, exploring the many emotions that we experience while reflecting on the many aspects of life. Once again Carrie Lemke, Amy Lelliotte, Rebekah Janzen, will bring their voices together accompanied by Veronica Klock to delight the ears of all ages. Among other solos, duets and trios, the ensemble will be performing an original work by Neil and Carrie Lemke set for three voices and piano, and a comical and theatrical trio version of The Girl in 14G (arranged by Veronica Klock). These local musicians are pleased to share their gifts of music with their community and hope that the Comox Valley and Campbell River will enjoy!
