We are excited to once again check in on the stellar career progress of one of the world's finest young concert pianists, currently based in Paris and Berlin. "...profound communion between pianist and composer" (Neville Cohn, West Australian)  "...exquisite sensibility, control of instrumental demands and, above all, his easy and close to miraculous naturalness." (Julio Garcia Casas, Seville)

March 26:

These two superb and increasingly in-demand young Vancouver chamber musicians and teachers will perform works by Schubert, Bach, Poulenc, and Griffes.

Soile Stratkauskas, baroque flute         Michael Jarvis, harpsichord

Finnish-born Soile Stratkauskas earned her Master’s Degree with distinction at the Royal Academy of Music in London and has played with many prominent period instrument orchestras in the UK.  Michael Jarvis has been acclaimed as one of Canada’s finest harpsichordists and has performed with leading orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout Canada, the US and Europe. Today's program will include works by Bach, Handel, Telemann and Purcell.

April 9:

The Bill Runge Quartet

Don't miss this long-time, first-call pillar of the Vancouver jazz scene.  Bill has been a successful performer, composer, arranger, and orchestrator for over 30 years. His saxophone style amalgamates the influences of John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Michael Brecker, and Steve Grossman with his own compositional approach… a modern player, firmly rooted in jazz tradition.
With Ron Hadley-piano, Rick Kilburn-bass, Buff Allen-drums

April 23:

Flutist Tom Keenlyside Quartet

"...the flute is a very difficult instrument to matriculate in the world of jazz ... Tom Keenlyside is one of a few to do it successfully." - Hubert Laws                                    "Keenlyside has a lush, warm sound, a fleet technique, and a complete command of the expressive devices available to the flute ... " - David Kane, Cadence Magazine, New York
With Ron Hadley-piano, Rick Kilburn-bass, Hans Verhoeven-drums

April 30:
