Experience a “musical taste” of Mardi Gras, as the very talented Faculty of the Victoria Conservatory of Music perform an eclectic variety of music from Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess Suite on duelling pianos, to Ragtime bands, Dixieland, New Orleans Jazz, French Quarter Musettes, and Cajun favourites.
VCM Faculty performing include pianists Anna Cal and Roger Buksa, jazz bassist Joey Smith, accordion and banjo player Aaron Watson, multi-instrumentalist Daniel Lapp, and more.
