Phil Dwyer has made his home in Qualicum Beach for the last ten years. Prior to that he enjoyed a thriving career in Toronto where he played with a �who�s who� of the music world, both live and on the many recordings on which he is featured. Along with numerous Junos and other prestigious awards he is one of a select group of Canadian musicians to be named to the Order Of Canada (in Dec. 2013). In August Phil will be relocating to New Brunswick to study law and his last local performance will be July 10 at the VIU Deep Bay Marine Field Station. For this performance Phil will be accompanied by his good friends and VIU music instructors Pat Coleman (guitar) and Ken Lister (bass) both of whom have had illustrious careers in their own right. Don�t miss this great evening of tunes from the classic era of the Great American Songbook.
