Join your host Robin Jackson for a conversation about how mushrooms and fungi have literally created the world around us. From food to medicine, agriculture, building materials, clothing, leather, and maybe even future space travel! Fungi are both the newest as well as oldest form of biotechnology, and a major path forward toward sustainability across the board.
Enjoy a mushroom bisque made by Chef Robin Jackson and learn how to make it. You’ll even take home the recipe!
PLUS! Get a grow your own mushroom at home kit: they grow a beautiful bouquet of pearl oyster mushrooms about a week after opening the lid.
There will be lots of interesting fungi present as visual aids.
