The Parksville Museum invites you to participate in Multicultural Day on June 27th.
The event will bring together the different cultures in our community to learn more about our neighbours. There will be diverse foods, performances, activities and more for both young and old. We want to hear your story. How did you arrive in Canada? Are you a new Canadian or did your roots start here decades ago? Why did you choose Parksville?
Multicultural Day is from 5 – 8 pm on June 27th at the Parksville Museum at 1245 E. Island Highway in Parksville. We’re located beside the Visitor Information Centre.
The Museum and heritage buildings have gone through a huge transformation. They’ll be open for your enjoyment to browse through. There is something new for everyone.
Are you interested in being part of the event? We want to hear from you. We’re reserving space for participants to share their culture through stories and performances.
And to come and take part if you want to sell food and crafts from your culture. It’s free to participate and we have a number of tents available. Book early.
