Moving Trans* History Forward 2014 is a symposium to bring together people working with transgender archival materials to exchange ideas and information, develop linkages, and increase our effectiveness in gathering and disseminating the history of trans* research and activism. On Saturday, March 22nd at 6:30, we will present Susan Stryker, Associate Professor of Gender and Women's Studies at the University of Arizona, speaking on Trans* Activism and Archiving. Following the keynote address, there will be a screening of the feature documentary Trans (2012).
This is a public event of the three day Moving Trans* History Forward Symposium.
