The Oak Bay Beach Hotel is thrilled to once again welcome back a long standing tradition of big screen releases to the community through our regularly scheduled Tuesday movie nights in the David Foster Foundation Theatre.

Awards season has arrived and we have a series of critically acclaimed movies over the next number of weeks and months for your viewing pleasure. Experience the drama with friends in the comfortable luxury of Victoria's newest movie house.

Have your choice of mini pulled-pork sliders or mini fish & chips, house-made buttered popcorn and ice cream sandwich for dessert. We follow Philomena Lee (Judi Dench), mother to a boy conceived out of wedlock and given away for adoption in the United States. In following church doctrine, she was forced to sign a contract that wouldn�t allow for any sort of inquiry into the son�s whereabouts. After starting a family years later in England and moving on with her life, Lee meets Sixsmith (Steve Coogan), a BBC reporter with whom she decides to discover her long-lost son. Nominated for 4 Academy Awards including Best Picture & Best Actress.
