Welcome to Oak Bay�s new community movie house! We are welcoming back a tradition of big screen releases to the community through our regularly scheduled Tuesday movie nights in the David Foster Foundation Theatre.

This May, British Royalty will make their way to Canada�s shores, and it would only be proper of Oak Bay to mark that occasion. The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall�s visit have inspired us to craft a series of popular movies fit for Royalty. Experience the drama with friends in the comfortable luxury of Victoria�s newest movie house.

Enjoy some chef-made sheperd�s pie, house-made buttered popcorn and English toffee chocolate bar for dessert*. Purchase one of our micro-brews, fine wines or favourite libations, sit back in our movie chair seats and enjoy The King's Speech on our big screen, amongst friends for $24 per person + tax.

After the death of his father King George V and the scandalous abdication of King Edward VIII (Guy Pearce), Bertie (Colin Firth) who has suffered from a debilitating speech impediment all his life, is suddenly crowned King George VI of England. With his country on the brink of war and in desperate need of a leader, his wife, Elizabeth (Helena Bonham Carter), arranges for her husband to see an eccentric speech therapist (Geoffrey Rush). With this support, his family, his government and Winston Churchill (Timothy Spall), the King will overcome his stammer and deliver a radio-address that inspires his people and unites them in battle.
