On June 25 and 26, 2016, Open Space launches its June Weekend of New Music featuring three very exciting and explorative events showcasing trends in contemporary music. The weekend includes, on Saturday at 6:00pm, a talk and performance by John Lely, followed by mosse-elva featuring the compositions of John Lely, Scott Mc Laughlin and the Blue Moss Ensemble as performed by Mira Benjamin at 7:30pm.
On Sunday’s concert at 6:30pm, there will be an epic double feature of Contact’s collaboration with Allison Cameron: A Gossamer Bit and their own arrangement Brian Eno’s Discreet Music.
