This course will cover the basics of typography and hand lettering and how it can be applied using different mediums and surfaces. The instructor will demonstrate how artists use can use typography as a form expression in drawings and paintings, as well as for use in street art, murals, posters and other forms of graphic design. The course will cover a brief introduction to design principles of layout and colour. You will learn the essential skills, tools and approaches to make typography part of your art practice. Suitable for all levels.
