Nanaimo MHA is a non-profit organization comprised solely of volunteers and we are putting together a Booster Club, which will be formed by the families of our players, parents, grandparents, aunties & uncles and any other community members.

The NMHA Booster Club will be responsible for bringing forth to the Board of Directors and implementing ideas such as association swag bags, Christmas surprises, help with association fundraising, Hockey Day in Nanaimo and general support for special events. Many hands make light work!

Purpose and Function of the NMHA Booster Club:

A booster club is defined as "an organization that is formed to help support the efforts of a sports team or organization. Support is shown in many ways, including volunteering time, raising money, and contributing funds to better enhance the team or organization's performance.” Another definition is "a booster club provides enthusiastic support of a team or organization. The Booster club will play a key role in supporting NMHA activities in many ways.

Join us at the minor hockey building to the back left of the Ice Center.
