Kid's (Grades K-12):Minetown Day 2017! Residents and visitors are invited to join Lantzville in celebrating Minetown Day in Huddlestone Park on Saturday, September 9, 2017.

8:00 am Pancake Breakfast at the Royal Canadian Legion

NOTE: A portion of Lantzville Road (from north of Ware Road to Huddlestone Road) will be closed from 9:45am to 11:00am to facilitate the Minetown Day Parade. Please obey all directions given by traffic control and use caution with the increased pedestrian traffic throughout the day. Parking is available on School Road and at the District Office. No Parking is permitted on Huddlestone Road or in front of Huddlestone Park on September 9th.

Kids: Decorate your bike and be in the marshalling area (along Jack's Road and Caillet Road - enter from Lantzville Road onto Jack's Road) by 10:00 am for judging and to ride in the Parade along Lantzville Road from Caillet Road to Huddlestone Road. Judging will be completed by 10:30 am and ribbons and trophies awarded.

11:00 am to 3:00 pm Fun! Fun! Fun! At Huddlestone Park! (Corner of Huddlestone Road and Lantzville Road)

Kids of all ages welcome! Enjoy the fantastic line-up of live entertainment on stage, visit the exhibits, shop the vendors, eat delicious food, and play! Free rides and activities! From pony rides to bouncers, slides and rides, dunk tank and old fashioned games, including watermelon eating and nail hammering contests - there is fun for everyone!

Be sure to visit the District's Booth for information on the finalization of the Official Community Plan Update and Water Master Plan.
