Milner Gardens� summer music program returns to the stunning VIU Deep Bay Marine Field Station.

August 22nd, Phil Dwyer�s Adult Jazz Intensive Ensemble, featuring saxophonist Eli Bennett, and some of the most talented amateur jazz musicians from BC and Alberta,

Saxophonist Phil Dwyer is an internationally known, multi-award-winning musician who lives in Qualicum Beach. He has played on over 100 recordings and has performed at concert and club venues in over 20 countries. On Aug 22 he will be appearing with participants from the 2013 PDAMCA Adult Jazz Intensive. Comprised of top amateur musicians and McGill students and graduates the Intensive ensembles produce music of the highest calibre and combined with the legendary skills of Phil Dwyer the result will be a delicious sampling of classic and contemporary jazz styles. *with Ben Dwyer on bass.

Gates open each night at 5:00, music runs 6:30 to 8:30.
Tickets are $20 per concert, Milner Members & Students: $15 per concert, including tax.
Food, refreshments and a wine/beer bar are available at 5pm.
