Mike has had three songs placed and featured in episodes of the television show Word Travels which continues to air in Canada and internationally. His song Into Another Day was featured as the theme song for The Kool FM Poster Boy Campaign in Waterloo Region. The song went on to receive national airplay and chart in Canada. Mike was a semi-finalist in the 2012 International Song Writing Competition for his song The Constant Beginner.
