the Nanaimo Harbour City Senior's Woodcarving Club is hosting their 19 th Annual Wood Craving Show and Competition.
This year in addition to hosting the Carving Show ,the Show will also feature a showing of Oil and acrylic Paintings ,Ceramics and Pottery done by other Sections of the Bowen Parks Seniors.
The Wood Carvings will provide a variety of featuring Waterfowl ,shore birds, song birds, animals ,fish and caricatures. Also featured will be Chip Carving ,Intarsia ,pyrographics and woodturning.
The show will feature work created by some of the best artists on Vancouver Island as well as the Lower Mainland .
The carving competition is open to all carvers ,all ages and skill levels from Novice through Expert.
