Mid Island Hot Rod Association Show & Shine/Family Day

On Sunday, August 17th, 2014, the Mid Island Hot Rod Association is supporting Nanoose Community Services� food bank by hosting a show and shine and family day. Spectator entry is by donation. he event will be held in a spectacular setting. Arbutus Meadows just south of Parksville adjacent to Highway #19, features a 60,000 square foot building and acres of grassy fields. Besides gorgeous vintage cars and big rigs, there will be an indoor swap meet and car corral for car enthusiasts. In addition to the show and shine, there are attractions for the whole family. A vendors� market and local artisans will display their wares. Pony rides, a kid zone with inflatable attractions, face painting and balloons will delight the kids. A pancake breakfast, assorted food trucks and a beer garden and live entertainment are also featured.
Local businesses have generously stepped with tons of prizes for those in attendance.
