NATURAL HISTORY NIGHT - VICTORIA NATURAL HISTORY SOCIETY
Symbiosis, or intimate associations between different species, is one of the most important forces in biology. Steve Perlman will describe some of the diverse roles symbionts play in the natural history of their hosts, such as helping them digest food, protecting them against natural enemies, and manipulating their reproduction and behaviour.
