Michael Rozenvain was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and it was there that he attended art school and later continued his studies at Lvov Academy of Applied Art. He immigrated to Israel in 1990 and has since had a number of one-man shows as well as participation in group exhibitions. He has also contributed to large murals and decorative elements in public buildings and monumental displays in hotels and libraries. Whether it's his Mediterranean street scenes, caf� orchestras or intimate date settings, his works fill the canvas with sub-conscious as well as conscious memories. The vitality of Michael's painting is unquestionably the foremost feature of his work and these scenes stay in our minds' eye long after we have left them behind.
