ECHO Players presents "Merry Christmas, George Bailey!", directed by Lesley McVey and produced by Jim Windsor.  

This play is an adaptation by Shirlee H. Shields of the 1946 Christmas movie "It's a Wonderful Life" which starred Jimmy Stewart as George Bailey, and Donna Reed as his wife Mary.  This movie continues to be one of the most popular films in American cinema.

In 1949 Lux Radio Theatre created a delightful radio play of this story, starring Jimmy Stewart & Donna Reed.  In 2002, this heartwarming story was adapted into a staged version of that radio play.  

This production takes the audience back into that 1949 Lux Radio Theatre as a cast of 24 brings this timeless classic to life.  It is complete with all the sound effects and local commercial breaks - an entertaining Christmas play that is a "must see" for the whole family!
