Like all Toastmasters clubs, Island Excellence provides a supportive and positive learning opportunity in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. ?

What makes our club unique is that we began as a Specialty Club, made up, almost exclusively, of graduates from the Excellence Series of programs offered by Excellence Seminars International (ESI) ESI, like Toastmasters, is a personal development program that gives you the tools to face life from a position of full participation and accountability in order to create the life you were meant to be living.

?In October of this year, we made the decision to shift from being a specialty club to opening our doors. We are excited to have made this change and also to be continuing to build the uniqueness of our Club. A few things that we are always striving for in our Club are Enthusiastic Participation, Full Expression and FUN!

Many people have the perception that Toastmasters is simply a place to come and learn how to public speak and while practicing our communication and speaking skills in a welcoming and hands-on learning environment is key to any club, there is so much more that being a part of a Toastmasters community brings to your life.
