Medford Singers Spring into Song

Medford Singers perform an ABBA medley, The Beatles " Here Comes the Sun" and Jim Croce's "Time in a Bottle". Along with those, favourites such as "You've Got a Friend by Carole King, "Hymn to Freedom" by Oscar Peterson and "They Call the Wind Maria" by Lerner and Loewe will be performed. Mendelssohn's "He Watching Over Israel" from "Elijah"will add a touch of the classical to the evening, along with "The King of Love my Shepherd is" by Edward Bairstow. Guest Soloists are Sarah Lane, Elizabeth Barrett and Mark Marquette. Medford Singers Music Student Bursary Winner will also sing. A three piece ensemble will accompany many of the pieces.
