"Pearls, Pomp and Pagentry" Last Night at the Proms, May 27th at 2 p.m. Duncan United Church
A British Style concert featuring a variety of music such as: Land of Hope and Glory, The Maple Leaf Forever, Jerusalem, Zadok the Priest, This is my Home (Expo 86 theme song), The Lord is my Shepherd, Rule Britannia, etc. Featuring Soprano soloist Olivia Kang, and Bass soloist Jonathan Hunwich.
Also Performing: May 26th in Lake Cowichan 2 p.m. at Lake Cowichan Secondary School, 190 South Shore Road. Tickets: $17 in advance at Volume One Books (Duncan) and Remax Lake Cowichan. Children 12 and under Free. $20 at the door. Check us out on Facebook
