Canada has countless rivers, lakes and ocean shores to explore. With a huge product selection, educational clinics, and expert staff, MEC will help beginners and enthusiasts find their perfect water adventure. MEC Paddlefest brings together professional paddlers, manufacturers, club members and more for a day of fun activities for all types of paddlers. Workshops on land teach safety, cooking, weather and more. On the water, clinics will introduce you to kayaking, canoeing, SUPping, or help improve your technique.
MEC Victoria invites you to come celebrate the outdoors with friends and family with a full day of fun filled activities including cardboard boat races and yoga for paddlers. Paddlefest is free and it is an ideal way to spend the day outdoors with the entire family. Discovery Island tours are available all day with shuttles departing every hour between 10am and 2pm to explore the Oak Bay Island Ecological Reserve.
