MEC Victoria: Bike Maintenance 101 - Customize Your Bike

Join us every Wednesday evening for Bike Maintenance Clinic from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. The 101 clinic is designed to go over basic details to help keep your bike in working order. Please note that all of our 101 clinics are only $10, are limited to 10 people and are a recommended prerequisite to attending one of our more advanced 201 clinics.

These clinics are taught by our experienced MEC staff and cover a different topic each week, on a four week rotation.
 
Customize Your Bike

 This course will teach you:

  -  how to diagnose common mechanical issues
  -  what basic maintenance looks like, and how to provide it
  -  terminology associated with your bicycle and how to use it
  -  knowledge about different bike parts, and their function

This is a knowledge based clinic, and we will provide you with all of the materials you might need. Come with your questions and sense of adventure. Bringing your own bicycle is not necessary; there will be one available for the demonstrations.

All of our Bike Maintenance clinics meet in the cycling department.
