MEC Speaker Series: Hiking the Pacific Crest Trail

We're pleased to present a talk on hiking the Pacific Crest Trail with experienced hikers and adventurers Greg Dandeneau and Jim LaMorte.  Before taking on such a journey, there are a lot of considerations such as the philosophy, food prep, gear selection, preparation and challenges to consider when planning a trip of this size.  Greg and Jim will speak to the specific challenges of this trail, things to be aware of that you might not face on other trails, and share their own experiences in a slide show. From prep to training to execution, if you are thinking of of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, or any other hike of large scale, this is a talk for you!
