Mbira Spirit consists of Amy Matamba from Vancouver Island and Tafadzwa Matamba from Zimbabwe. This vibrant, diverse husband and wife duo have a powerful sound and vision of bridging communities between Canada and Zimbabwe. Together we are one. Playing African, Folk, Spiritual and Gospel music, our performance is unforgettable. Our sweet harmonies and irresistable rhythms are very inspiring and motivating leaving our audiences uplifted.
Mbira Spirit believes the power of music and the arts can change lives. Through our performances and our work in creating a Cultural Arts Centre on Vancouver Island and Zimbabwe, we are taking action to make a positive change.
