Sun, Sep 18th, 2:30-4:30pm, Matinee Concert – David Kilbank & Paul Bezooyen – Contemporary Folk Possessed of an intuitive musical understanding and complementary song writing styles, Dave and Paul create melodic acoustic landscapes reminiscent of Simon & Garfunkel and Crosby Stills & Nash.

As multi-instrumentalists, their 2 collaborative albums, Travelers and Fire On The Horizon, employ understated supportive instrumentation, while maintaining a focus on their core strengths: harmonic vocals and carefully crafted guitar arrangements. Whether they’re producing fundraising concerts like The Language Of Light or creating promotional videos for the MS Society, Kilbank and Bezooyen believe that music is an integral part of community building. Kilbank volunteers as host of the CHLY 101.7FM radio show Songwriter’s Circle where he tirelessly promotes Vancouver Island artists and their respective musical events.
