Nanaimo Quilter's Guild tri-annual quilt show is a must see event. The members are quilting like crazy to show off their finest work! Locally made quilts and fibre arts are displayed in a variety of categories. Viewers will have their say in the Viewers Choice Award. There are ongoing quilting demonstrations through-out opening to closing hours each day. We have our famous yummy tea/lunch room which boasts our fabulous homemade Tomato Soup! The Boutique will be selling many handmade items and quilting items. Graham Gates will be entertaining on piano.
Judy Lyons, ISA AQS certified Quilt Appraiser will be on site each day to appraise quilts. Pre-booked appointments are advised. Contact Lillian Charron 250-245-8345 to book appointment.
The Nanaimo Quilters Guild supports many groups in Nanaimo and our area. Donating quilts; comfort quilts; placemats; Christmas gift bags for youth; food bank items and even textile bursaries. Come share our love of fabric and design and find out why MATERIAL.... is ......MAGIC!!!!
