In this second part of the workshop you will be learning how to clean your Mason Bee condo and your Mason Bee cocoons. The best time for this to happen is after September, with November being the most ideal month. Mites are the biggest pest in a condo and Gord will teach you the best methods for getting off the mites without harming the cocoons.

About the Presenter: Former field biologist for Conservation Data Centre, Royal B.C. Research has been focused primarily on native bee species in the last few years, twenty years keeping orchard mason bees, and now looking into pollination of commercial operations such as farms and orchards.
