A performance filled with love and laughter, IT'S AMORE! is a show not to be missed! Maria Manna has created, produced and performed in Ladies of Blues, Ladies of Gospel and Ladies of Jazz. She produced Vancouver Island's Got Talent and is a regular performer at the Cameron Band Shell and the Butchart Gardens summer concert series. For many years Maria served as ambasssador to the city of Edmonton as Klondike Kate. She has three cd recordings in Italian and English, and was the principal vocalist and script coach for the movie The Engagement Ring.
Maria was born to Italian immigrant parents and she shares her fond and often hilarious memories of her Italian upbringing. She will sing a collection of hit songs from the toe tapping Volare and Mambo Italiano to the passionate theme from The Godfather and Three Coins in the Fountain. Joining her are seasoned actor/singers Pam Miller and Alf Small whose stage credits include Cabaret, Annie, Into the Woods, The Addams Family, My Fair Lady and The Drowsy Chaperone.
IT'S AMORE! plays at the Charlie White Theatre (Mary Winspear Centre) November 22 at 7:30 pm and November 23 at 2:30 pm. Call the Box Office for tickets at 250-656-0275.
