SHAKE YOUR BOOGIE with the popular MALLOOMBA BOOGIE BAND!

Malloomba is excited to be performing for the first time in Nanaimo!

The Malloomba Boogie Band perform high energy rock and roll from the 60�s to the 80�s with covers from The Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Van Morrison to name a few.

The six-piece band from Port Alberni has been entertaining in the Coombs, Qualicum area for over 20 years and were given an award for consistently drawing large audiences at the Coombs Rodeo Grounds Community Centre.

The band includes Lance Lapointe, lead vocals/guitar/percussion, Al Nelson, alto-sax/vocals, Harry Jakoncic, tenor-sax/vocals/percussion, Johnny Wong, bass/guitar/vocals, Ben Guineau, bass/guitar and Mark Anselmo, drums/percussion.

They recently performed at a street dance during the Show and Shine car show festivities in downtown Qualicum Beach which was attended by hundreds of people!

Malloomba has also played for the Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce Fantasy auction at least 10 times, as well as being the feature band on Sunday night at the Comox Nautical Days on the BC day long weekend.

People love the fact that there are TWO Saxes in this band; the high energy Rock and Roll sound of Malloomba will keep you dancing all night long! The dance floor is amazing, one of the few large wooden sprung dance floors around.
