Jubilate! After winter�s cold, rain and snow, Malaspina Choir presents a concert of optimism, and expressions of joy and enthusiasm through music. The program features the bright musical whimsy of William Mathias and Mozart�s Solemn Vespers with its well-known soprano aria Laudate Dominum as sung by soprano Skye Donald. Other works draw from Psalm chanting and the congregational hymn singing traditions found in the American South. The University of Victoria Chamber Singers are also guest artists at this concert and will perform music by Daniel Gawthrops and Stravinsky and a breath taking Alleluia by Eric Whitacre.
