The Malahat Nation invites you to attend a fundraiser for the creation of its Kwunew Kwasun Cultural Resource Centre.

The Malahat Cultural Resource Centre is envisioned as a place for community to
learn, teach the values and re-build the strengths of its culture and provide
books and other educational resources. It will also bridge community relationships.

The fundraiser will be an excitng evening featuring a dinner created by the
culinary team of Brentwood College in collaboration with the Malahat Nation.
The dinner will be accompanied by traditonal entertainment as well as a live
and silent aucton, showcasing some of the best in Aboriginal art and craftsmanship today.

Proceeds from this event will be used to assist Malahat Nation complete construction of its new Malahat Kwunew Kwasun Cultural Resource Centre � the Nation�s new gathering place and centre for early literacy, education and cultural activities, and language revival. The Malahat Nation will be joined by the Honourable Steven Point, respected Aboriginal leader, a passionate advocate for Aboriginal learning and former Lieutenant Governor of BC, Britco, Rotary International, Government House, Hulhetun Health, Kwumut Lelum, and other Founding Partners.
