Can two musicians reproduce the sound of The Beatles recordings - live with no excessive pre-recorded backups? That’s the challenge for THE MAGICAL MYSTERY DUO. Using no undue electronic whatchamacallit, SIR PAUL sings lead and plays guitar while DOCTOR ROBERT creates amazing soundscapes on keyboards in this two-man Beatles cover act.
THE MAGICAL MYSTERY DUO came in through the bathroom window in 2009 when Paul and Robert decided to create a performing rock band. They soon realized many great groups already existed on Vancouver Island, so they endeavored to craft an act that would escalate their profile.
Paul and Robert chose to cover The Beatles exclusively. The decision to perform solely as a duo cover band– as opposed to a four-man tribute impersonation type act – defines their unique niche. You will be amazed at their sound.
