Lynne Bowen will give a talk on the Great Coal Miners' Strike of 1912-1914 at the meeting of the Nanaimo Historical Society. She is a well-known local historian and author who has researched and written extensively on the Great Strike which impacted communities from Ladysmith to Cumberland. It was one of the longest and bitterest of strikes in BC. Join us in learning about our history, our community and our grandparents' world. All Welcome.
