Immerse yourself in the world of Wet Plate Collodion photography with this intro workshop.

Two sessions to choose from:

Two-day:
Sat - Sun. Apr 11 & 12, 2015
9:30 am - 4:00 pm
2 days, $395 plus gst

Three-day:
Mon - Wed. July 13, 14 & 15, 2015
9:30 am - 4 :00 pm (we may go longer on Tues)
3 days, $550 plus gst
@ LUZ + On-location

We will take you from pouring and exposing your first (tintype) plate, through to a working understanding of the chemistry, equipment and setup required to continuing making your own tintypes. Limited to a small group, we will take the time to help you understand the fundamentals of wet plate photography from safe handling of the chemistry  to finishing and mounting your plates.

We offer both a 2-day version & a 3-day version of the The Collodion Image. The major difference is the 3-day workshop allows for us to travel out of the studio and shoot on-location at a local farm. You will also get a chance to learn the collodion process more in depth over the three days.
