Join Luckys as we introduce you to two wineries. The first - Rathjen Cellars in Saanich. Rathjen Cellars is a farm-based winery established on the Saanich Peninsula in 2016. They are passionate about bringing under-utilized farmland back to health and into production. Drawing inspiration from Old World traditions, they use minimal intervention in the cellar to create wines that truly reflect our coastal climate. They are proudly 100% Vancouver Island. The second is Roche. From their roots in Bordeaux and Burgundy to the emerging terroir of the Okanagan Valley, they build an informed perspective, based on observation from the vineyard to the glass. They are committed to crafting wines from start to finish. Roche’s priority is hands-on organic farming, with traditional French ‘savoir-faire’, to make exceptional wines that express unique Okanagan terroir.
