Formed in 2013, Lovecoasts four members came together through unanticipated fate years after their University graduation. Now based out of Vancouver BC the band has cultivated a live show that is dance driven and highly energetic.

Lovecoast has been making waves since their conception in 2013. In 2014 alone they played the World Ski & Snowboard Festival, won a spot at Tall Tree Music Festival, made the Regional top 10 in CBC’s Searchlight, toured Western Canada and shared the stage and line-up with acts such as Five Alarm Funk, The Dudes, Dan Mangan, Close Talker and many more. When it came time to record their debut EP, Lovecoast turned to crowd funding platform Indiegogo and raised over $5000. The debut EP 'Chasing Tides' was produced by Juno Nominated producer Tom Dobrzanski of The Zolas (Hey Ocean!, We Are The City, Said The Whale) and charted for 12 straight weeks across Canada on Earshot. 'Chasing Tides' speaks to the band's strong musicality while telling tales of love, loss and life on the West Coast.

Lovecoast is a band that proudly wears its heart on its sleeve. On top of everything else they have even found time to host multiple events raising awareness for Music Heals Canada, donating over $600 in 2014. The band's passion lies in their love for music, artistry, and community. With their eyes set firmly on the horizon, Lovecoast is an up and coming band to watch.
