In 1942 the Canadian government forcibly relocated Japanese Canadians living on the west coast to the Canadian interior. Those displaced included Brent’s grandparents, who eventually settled in Winnipeg. Seventy years later, Brent moved from Winnipeg to Vancouver and came face-to-face with the legacy of his grandparents and the history they left behind. Winner of the 2012 Winnipeg Fringe Best of Fest.
