Lorraine Nygaard is known for her warm vocals and connection to the audience. She is delighted to work with different mixes, and this evening's will give your January a boost. Enjoy an uplifting evening of just some of the amazing compositions of Duke Ellington, done uniquely in this quartet.
Patrick Courtin came to Victoria in 2014, and is excited to bring his interpretations of Ellington's work to you. Come hear why Patrick is already hot on the local scene, when he's not busy touring with Ken Lavigne.
Ken Lister currently performs and teaches in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island. He has toured across Canada and internationally, winning accolades and Juno awards along the way. Ken performed on Lorraine's debut cd which will be available for sale that evening.
Dave Emery is a welcome addition to Victoria in 2014, having played professionally in Tokyo for the last 20 years. You can frequently see Dave as a host in the Tom Vickery Trio Thursday night jam sessons at Hermann's.
