“The Rotary Club of Brentwood Bay Foundation and the Saanich Peninsula Community Foundation both focus on supporting of the members of the Saanich Peninsula community.

Through its grants program, the Saanich Peninsula Community Foundation supports activities in the areas of health and social services, arts and culture, education, conservation and in recreation which benefit the residents of the Saanich Peninsula. The Rotary Club of Brentwood Bay Foundation raises funds to help to relieve poverty in the region of Victoria, British Columbia (and in particular, the Saanich Peninsula) by providing baskets and hampers containing food and gifts to families in need; advance education by providing scholarships, bursaries, and awards to students in the region of Victoria, BC, and by providing schools in the area with books, equipment and other educational aids.

We are thrilled to announce that the two foundations have agreed to partner again and put on the fourth annual Lobsterfest! The event will be held on Saturday June 4, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the Bodine Family Hall at the Mary Winspear Centre. We decided on a change of venue for this year because the larger size of the Bodine Family Hall will allow us to spread out a lot more – which will leave lots of space for the attendees to move around and explore the event.

As always, the event includes a lobster dinner with all of the fixins’, musical entertainment by Paul O’Brien, raffles and a silent auction … we are also lucky enough to have Forbes & Marshall MC’ing the event for the fourth time! We may even do a live auction again as it was definitely a success at last year’s event.

There are only 280 tickets available and we are confident that this event will be a sell-out once again so you should act fast! Supporting this event is a great way to have a fun night out with your family, friends, clients and employees as well as being wonderful opportunity to promote your business in the community as an event sponsor.”
