Join us at Nanaimo Ceramic Arts Studio and Gallery Thursday July 3th at 7pm on Facebook for the reception of "We Journey Together" A collection of Narrative Boats by visiting Artist Lily Stringer. Gallery is open one visitor at a time,Tuesday - Thursday 1 to 4 and Friday - Saturday 10 to 5. Show runs July 30th to Aug 15th

"We Journey Together" is a display of clay boats that reflect our humanity with love and humor and honesty. Using printed words, deep textures and humanoid animals Stringer's boats are worlds full of narrative. Her work reminds us that we are all connected, and that we must see and understand each other to survive . Stringer wants you to laugh, to recognize yourself and to question your own journey. This show is full of fun and truth and the ridiculousness’s of life. Come spend some time with these stories housed in the energetic sculptures and functional serving vessels.

Live Facebook viewing of the gallery starts July 30th at 7pm. includes an interview with Lily. Our online shop will go live at 7:30, shipping or pick up at the gallery. private viewing appointments can be made or pop by during studio hours.
