In what promises to be the biggest boxing card in over two decades here in Nanaimo, fans will not want to miss the return to action of Former Canadian Champion Mark Woolnough. Plus many other local and extremely talented fighters.

Amongst those other LOCAL and TALENTED fighters are Heavyweight Shane Andreesen and Middleweight Aubrey Morrow. These two knockout artists are crowd pleasing, action-packed fighters who also possess the skill and technique to satisfy the purists in attendance.

Also, fan favourite Duncan Wilson will make his professional boxing debut as he looks to transfer his success in MMA - which saw him capture the Fivestar Welterweight Title in April - into a boxing career in front of a hometown crowd.

"I'm so excited about this whole event that I can barely contain myself," said promoter Terry Strawson "It's fantastic for everybody involved. The fans, fighters, their family and friends, and the community as a whole will benefit from this show. It's going to be unreal."

Ring announcer Barrie Eget - who works for HBO, Showtime and ESPN in the US - will guide you through an enjoyable evening of professional boxing that will also feature American Dashon Johnson, 2012 US Olympic Alternate LaRon Mitchell and Canadian Title hopeful Alisah McPhee.
