Live Outdoor Nativity Pageant

Since 1987 we have staged a live outdoor nativity pageant on Topaz Avenue at the south end of Topaz Park. It is free and presented as an annual gift to the people of Greater Victoria, and our visitors. Average annual attendance is 5,000. A cast and crew of 100 stage 4 shows nightly on December 21, 22, and 23. There are live animals such as sheep, llamas, and donkeys, and even live babies portraying the newborn Jesus. King Herod, the Angel Gabriel, the Innkeeper and his family, taxpayers, the Three Kings, and a Host of Angels are among those that make an appearance. Shows are nightly at 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, and 8:00.
