The Dead Keep Talking Leah Ramsey
One of the many very important roles that museum collections play is to provide historical and current data to use in assessing the conservation status of a species. Leah will go through some of this ranking process and examples of how the natural history collections of the Royal BC Museum and others have been enormously useful.

Leah Ramsay is the Program Zoologist at the BC Conservation Data Centre and a Research Associate with the RBCM. She has to deal with all manner of living things in her position at the CDC; but her soft spots are with the dragonflies and birds.
