JML hit the road at 19 with his guitar, a backpack and his thumb. He's been travelling around Western Canada ever since, playing music in small town bars, big city clubs, folk clubs, on streetcorners, and on big outdoor stages at concert series and festivals.
Songwriting has followed, with JML's debut CD "Out on the Land" released in 2014, six sweet original tunes wrapped up in a full band package. JML tours those touching songs solo acoustic, along with great covers of heroes of his like John Prine, Steve Earle, Townes Van Zandt, Van Morrison and more.
